Hip-hop - urban culture and music genre originated in African-American communities in New York in the seventies of the twentieth century.B-boying is a dance, invented by members of the hip-hop culture, requiring good physical aptitude, fitness and a good sense of rhythm. The person is dancing breakdance b-boy/biboj (male) or b-girl/bigerl (female). It is an abbreviation of the word break-boy/breakdance-boy. They are found in the so-called "battle" (called battles in Polish slang batelki) involving the public presentation of their ability to dance in order to demonstrate its superiority over the enemy.
